Return Policy
Effective May 27, 2026
Sparkle Pools LLC understands that sometimes a purchase doesn't work out. We're happy to accept returns and exchanges within the terms outlined below. Please review this policy carefully before bringing an item back to the store.

Return Window
Returns and exchanges must be initiated within ten (10) days of the original purchase date. Items brought in after this window are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.
Condition Requirements
To be eligible for a return, products must be in their original, unopened, factory-sealed packaging and in resalable condition. Products that have been opened, used, installed, or modified in any way cannot be returned, except as described under Damaged or Defective Items below.
Restocking Fee
A 20% restocking fee is deducted from the refund on all returns of unused products. This fee covers the cost of inspecting, repackaging, and restocking returned merchandise.
Receipt & Photo ID
An original sales receipt is required for every return. We can reprint some receipts, but not all — please bring your receipt if at all possible.
A valid government-issued photo ID (such as a driver's license or state ID) is also required at the time of return. To help prevent fraudulent return activity, we store information from your ID in a secure database of customer return activity. This database is used solely to authenticate and authorize returns, and is not shared for marketing purposes.
Refunds
Approved refunds are issued (less the 20% restocking fee, where applicable) based on the original form of payment:
- Credit or debit card — refunded to the original card. Allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement. This timing depends on your bank and cannot be expedited by Sparkle Pools.
- Cash — refunded in cash up to $20.00. Cash purchases over $20.00 are refunded by company check, typically mailed within 7–10 business days.
- Check — refunded by company check once the original payment has cleared.
Exchanges
Exchanges are subject to the same eligibility rules as returns: within 10 days of purchase, in original unopened packaging, with original receipt and photo ID. Even exchanges of comparable items are typically processed without additional charge or refund for routine price differences. Significant price differences will be handled on a case-by-case basis at the time of exchange.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged for any reason other than a manufacturer defect (see Damaged or Defective Items below):
- Pool and spa chemicals — for safety and liability reasons, all chemical sales are final.
- Special-order items, including any associated shipping charges. Once a special order is placed, it cannot be cancelled or returned.
- Custom items, such as pool and spa covers, custom-cut liners, and safety covers made to your pool's specifications.
- Sensitive electronic components, including heater parts, pump motors, control boards, and circuit boards.
- Automatic pool cleaners once the factory seal on the packaging has been broken.
- Test kits and refill solutions — water test kits and their reagent/refill solutions.
- Backwash hose, whether prepackaged or cut to length.
- Installed or used items — anything that has been installed in a pool or spa, assembled, or otherwise used.
- Clearance and final-sale items — any item marked clearance or final sale at the time of purchase.
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive an item that arrives damaged or is defective out of the box, please bring it back to our store as soon as possible. After inspection, we will arrange a replacement, exchange, or refund at no charge. Please retain all original packaging and accessories.
Special Orders
Items not regularly stocked, ordered specifically for your project, or manufactured to your specifications are considered special orders. Once placed, special orders cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded, and any deposits paid are non-refundable. Shipping charges on special orders are also non-refundable.
Manufacturer Warranties
All products sold by Sparkle Pools LLC are new and come with the original manufacturer's warranty. We do not sell second-hand, refurbished, or used products.
Warranty paperwork is included in the packaging of most products, or is available on the manufacturer's website. For questions not answered in the product documentation, please contact the manufacturer directly — they are best positioned to handle warranty claims on their products.
For certain items, warranty concerns can be handled directly through Sparkle Pools during the first year of ownership. If you believe a product is defective within the first year, please contact our customer service team at (812) 232-1292 and we'll help determine the best path to resolution.
How to Return an Item
- Confirm the item is eligible under this policy and within the 10-day window.
- Repackage the item in its original, unopened packaging along with all accessories, manuals, and parts.
- Bring the item, your original receipt, and a valid government-issued photo ID to our store during regular business hours.
- A team member will inspect the item, verify eligibility, and process your refund or exchange.

Right to Refuse
Sparkle Pools LLC reserves the right to refuse any return or exchange at our sole discretion, including but not limited to suspected fraudulent activity, abuse of this policy, or items that do not meet the conditions outlined above.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Return Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. The policy in effect on the date of your purchase governs that transaction.
